Calculate all cubes
Last Updated 3/6/2012 10:49 PM

You can force recalculation of a model or of all the models in a project, by using the Calculate all cubes maintenance feature.

To access this feature, navigate to {Project Tab}>Modeling>Maintenance>Calculate all cubes

The display will list all models in the project. Select the models you wish to calculate, and click the Calculate Model button. The select cubes will then be recalculated.

Note that if model is associated with a link to another model using the Autorun feature, then the target model will be recalculated as well, if you don't want to run the link, uncheck the option for "Calculate Related" in the bottom of the model list.

Note also that this feature does a full consolidation of all sections of the model cube (unlike a data save or submission where intelligent consolidation is applied).

You can also calculate combination of the dimension for each cube, click on the  icon next to the model you want to calculate, and then specify the combination of the member that you want to calculate. For example, you may only calculate Budget version of the model, or calculate only certain member of the dimension.
